Cat and Mouse is a reveting costume comedy loosely base on the popular Chinese novel Qi Xia Wu Yi about the story of Judge Pao in the Song Dynasty and his group of heroic helpers, who together solve cases and catch criminal galore, in the original sotyr, Zhan Zhao is constantly at longgerheads with Bai Yutong, a robin Hood figure who assists Judge Pao from the other side of the law. Their conflict experiences a modem rendition in this hilriously inconoclastic film, where Bai Yutong is turned into a cross-dressing heroine played by Cecilia Cheung with a crush on Zhan Zhao played by andy lau.
