A story of five main characters whose events intertwine. There is Killer, who is a total professional killer-except he has feelings, particularly for Agent, who arranges his assignments. Killer leaves a lucky coin for her with Ho, a bartender who breaks into other people's houses in order to set up his own. Ho is obsessed with Cherry, and even dyes his hair blond to resemble her ex-lover, Johnny. Cherry fixates on Johnny, not willing to give Ho a chance, and always seems about to drift on. Meanwhile, Punkie loves Killer, and is willing to make a deal with his so that, even if Killer can't forget Agent, he might at least settle for her
