While his girlfriend Anita Yuen Wing Yi's star may have fallen, Julian Cheung Chi Lam's star continues to rise as he begins to mature as an actor. Off his acclaimed performance on TVB's Cold Blood Warm Heart, Chi Lam plays a young gangster who eventually learned the err of his ways. Almost without the flash and glorification of the Triad in Young and Dangerous, the path Chi Lam took in this film was a little less comic book like and more realistic. The final scene meant well but was still expected.
