When swordmaster Wah acquires a famous blade, a sword expert advises that he destroy it, or he will be killed by that very weapon. Wah does not believe him, and instead retires to spend the rest of his years at peace. But many young swordsmen try to find him and challenge him for the blade, including Lee, who has recently saved a young woman from being assassinated. When Lee hears that Wah's daughter Ying has been kidnapped, he soon discovers that it is the very same woman who he had previously saved. Lee sets out to save Ying, and challenge Wah, though his growing love for Ying may be his undoing.
