Legendary Chinese hero WONG FEI-HUNG (Jet Li) takes a new venture in this "Once Upon a Time in China" series. Together with his fiancée AUNT YEE and disciple SEVEN, he traveled to the wild American West to visit disciple SO who opened a "Bo Chi Lam" branch there.
However, the trio had an accident. WONG lost his memory but was lucky to be saved by an aboriginal tribe. In a combat helping the Indians defeat their rivals, WONG retrieved his memory. Meanwhile, his folks were desperate in search of their master. On the way, they saw Chinese laborers being suppressed by a tyrannical MAYOR. No sooner had WONG left his new Indian friends than he saw a brutal Mexican bandit coming to rob the town and the coward MAYOR betraying his people. WONG used his superb kungfu to fight off western gunmen, and hence gained recognition for Chinese martial arts in the West.
This kungfu epic combines the best of veteran director Sammo Hung and producer Tsui Hark, mixing Western gunslingers with traditional Chinese sidekicks and, of course, bringing out the best action sequences from Jet Li.
