Two firemen, Jun-wu and Hyon, are both in the same unit, but have very different views on firefighting. Jun-wu is a warm-hearted man who does not care about the danger in his rescuing activities, and Hyon who believes only rational and reasonable actions can control the fire site. During one mission, their team is ordered to leave a family inside a burning building. Jun-wu still wants to save them, but is pulled away by Hyon. Their conflicts eventually escalate to the point that Jun-wu leaves the force. But when his girlfriend is involved in a potentially fatal accident, all differences must be put aside in order to save her life.
