Disc jockey Piggy Chan (Leslie Cheung), mechanic Sapi (Mang Hoi) and cousin Hayden (Jimmy Wong) are good friends. Three of them from a trio - LOVEBURSTERS. Piggy falls in love at first sight with Jane Yu (Loletta Lee). He tears down all obstacles to win her heart. With the victory, he resumes his inclination to flirt around. His friends and relatives are very upset to see him deserting Jane. On the pther hand, Sapi and Piggy's Mabley (Ann Bridgewater) are deeply in love. Piggy is very furious when he discovers their love affair. However, he finally decides not to intercene because Sapi has a fatal disease. With the moubting pressure from friends and relatives, Piggy realizes his true affection towards Jane. But she has chosen toreject him. The LOVEBUSTERS then step in and salvage the couple's relationship.
