Hong Kong box office favorite Patrick Kong presents his most ambitious essay on duplicitous modern love yet with the entertaining all-star ensemble film Love Connected. Arriving in cinemas for Valentine's Day 2009, the film weaves five very different crisscrossing stories of romance, breakup, and reconciliation in modern-day Hong Kong. Love Connected packs in the celebrity sightings with a star-spotting idol cast of Patrick Kong regulars and new faces, not to mention a galore of cameos. Patrick's perennial muse Stephy Tang stars as a reticent flower shop girl who rejects the overtures of a budding singer (labelmate popstar Justin Lo, Love at First Note), because of a reason she doesn't want to reveal. Pop diva Kay Tse makes her movie debut opposite stage actor Joey Leung as a modern couple whose relationship has run its course and withered to the test of time and money, but the memories of yesterday's love return during a dinner date.
