Tin Wai San (Nick Cheung) and Fong Ah Man (Maggie Cheung) meet and fall in love on a cruise ship in storybook manner. After just seven days of hand holding, they jump straight to the altar for marital vows, but they get divorced almost as quickly. Hoping to squirm out of alimony, San encourages his friend Wah (Stephen Au) to pursue Man, figuring that if they get married, he can stop paying. When San realizes the truth behind the misunderstanding that ended the marriage, however, he decides he wants his wife back. Love and reconciliation is never straightforward though, espeically with San's longtime friend Kar Kar (Joyce Tang) harboring feelings for him and Wah turning out to be a swindling jerk.
