YIP CHIN-LUNG (Lau Tak Wah) is the son of former Cantonese Opera stars YIP BUT-TSAU (Ha Ping) and KEUNG NING (Pau Fong). The three used to live together but knowing that NING had been cheating on her, TSAU got so angry and decided to leave with LUNG. LUNG has grown to be a good son to TSAU. Later LUNG and his best buddy TSANG CHI-LEUNG (Yim Tsau Wah) both fall in love with a girl called CHOW CHING (Mo Shun Kwan).
After years of separation, NING meets TSAU again. He is desperate to get back with TSAU but is rejected. TSAU does not even want him to get reunited with LUNG.
